Color me blue

I want you to color me blue to fill my empty canvas with strokes of you. I want you to shade me into something that's all brand new. You gave me violet highlights and made me your view. Next you added yellow tints and called me your breakthrough. After all your favorite colors were used you said i'm done with you. You always told me to never look back there's nothing to lose. But what you didn't tell me is when you got tired of the same view you would leave me too. You never told me i was the nothing you wanted to lose. You told me i would always be your masterpiece but you let me fade away and i couldn't believe all you were was untrue. You gave me everything, every shade you filled me in with was my clue. But how can i complain you gave me what i wanted. You colored me blue.
